Paper published by microbial working group of the Gulf of Maine Census of Marine Life

After several years of work, here is the final peer-reviewed paper published by the microbial working group of the Gulf of Maine Census of Marine Life. It contains a comprehensive listing of the phytoplankton taxa, plus a short descriptive account of almost every other microbial group in GOM for which there is published information. This paper can also be regarded as an AZMP publication because it draws heavily on data from the western Scotian Shelf, which is regarded as part of the Gulf of Maine Area.
